In this video, we'll take you on a brief tour of Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD 11, which is Sony's consumer-priced multimedia software package for audio and video editing. It is built on the backbone of Sony Vegas Pro, and while it offers a simple interface and helpful tutorials for the novice, there's still a ton of powerful professional tools available as your ambitions and skills increase.

We will show you around the interface for Movie Studio, and walk through setting up a basic video editing project. You'll learn how to work with the timeline, trim clips, add transitions, add text and titles, and overlay graphics. Finally, we'll show you Movie Studio's super-simple one-click YouTube uploader, so you can get your video online directly from the software.
